Support that meets you wherever you are.
Recovery & Mental Wellness is how the coalition helps people and families find their way to support — connecting the county to recovery and mental-health resources, backing recovery-friendly workplaces, and chipping away at the stigma that keeps people from asking for help.
What support can look like
- Finding the right local resource, fast
- Recovery support that respects your privacy
- Help for families and loved ones too
- A community working to end stigma
- Reducing stigma around substance use

Connecting you to resources is always freeNo judgment
Wherever you are is a fine place to start
Recovery happens in a community, not in isolation.
Help is closer than it feels
Support already exists across Starke County. The hard part is finding it — so we make the connection simple and human
Families are part of recovery
When someone struggles, the people around them do too. We support loved ones, not just the person in recovery.
Stigma is a barrier we can move
Shame keeps people silent. Changing how the county talks about recovery and mental health is prevention in itself.

We talk through what you need and connect you with the right local resource — privately.

Good to know.
Is reaching out confidential?
Yes. We treat every contact with discretion and respect your privacy. You can share only what you’re comfortable with, and there’s no pressure to commit to anything by simply asking a question.
Does the coalition provide treatment directly?
The coalition connects people to recovery and mental-health resources rather than providing clinical treatment itself. Think of us as the bridge — we help you find and reach the right local services and support.
I'm worried about a family member. Can you help me?
Absolutely. You don’t have to be the person struggling to reach out. We support families and loved ones with information, resources, and connections to help — including support meant for you.
What is a recovery-friendly workplace?
It’s an employer that supports people in recovery through understanding policies, resources, and a stigma-free culture. We can guide both individuals looking for such workplaces and employers who want to become one.
This is an emergency. What should I do?
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you’re in crisis or having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. The coalition’s role is ongoing connection and support, not emergency response.
